Bring It On is a two day exhibition and showcase of North East Engineering, aimed at raising the aspirations of youngsters in the region and contributing to closing the engineering skills gap by Educating pupils about the engineering activities taking place around them, Inspiring them to want to be part of it and Informing them about what they need to do to become so.
Following the Covid epidemic we will return this year to a live
exhibition at the Beacon of Light Building, Stadium Park, Sunderland, SR5 1SN, on October 12th and 13th 2022.
Only North East based engineering companies are permitted to exhibit and in 2019, our last live event, we attracted 67 engineering
companies from all sectors and from all parts of the region.
Whilst the exhibition is primarily for school students in the age range 9-14, this year, for the first time, we would like to invite final year engineering students from North East and Tees Valley universities and further education colleges to visit the exhibition between 16:00 and 18:00 on Wednesday October 12th to meet the exhibiting companies. Who knows where that may lead!
The venue is readily accessible by road, has excellent parking and is easily accessible by public transport from Sunderland, Teesside and Tyneside.
