We are delighted that Professor Cath Noakes, an engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Professor of Environmental Engineering for Buildings at Leeds University, an expert in the airborne transmission of infectious diseases and a member of the SAGE Committee that advises government on how to combat the COVID epidemic, has agreed to appear at Bring It On 2021. She also has many connections with the North East of England and North East engineering.
Professor Noakes will talk about how and why she became an engineer, how being an engineer has helped her career progress and how, as an engineer, she has been able to contribute to the fight against COVID-19.
